LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board’s selection committee is likely to announce Twenty20 squad for England’s series today, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to details, selection committee has finalised 15 names for the squad which may be announced today.
Opening batsman Mukhtar Ahmed who seems out form and middle order batsman Sohaib Maqsood, who has repiortedly being puished for misbehave, are likely to miss the series
Peshawar Region’s seasoned campaigner Rifatulah Mehmond  and middle middle order batsman Iftikhar Ahmed are expected to make way in T20 side, whilewiket-keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed who missed series against Zimbabwe due to performing Hajj, will also be the part of the team.
Star cricketer Shahid Afridi will lead the side.
While talking to media last night, Afridi said, he is focusing more on fitness after shifting to Lahore.
He said, he has been testing different combinations in last couple of series to find his final 15 fro the big event next year.
Skipper went on to say that he has been sending other players to in top order, but now he will prefer himself to play last 8 to 10 overs.
