ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Monday chaired a high-level meeting to review the progress made in National Action Plan, his office said.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Advisor on National Security Nasir Janjua, PM’s Advisor Sartaj Aziz and PM’s Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi attended the meeting.
Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Chief of the General Staff Lt Gen Zubair Mehmood Hayat and senior civilian and military officials were also present.
The civil and military leadership discussed the country’s law and order situation and other security challenges being faced by the country.
The meeting comes a week before the army chief is to embark on a five-day visit to the United States
