LAHORE: Pakistan Blind Cricket Council has on Wednesday refused to participate in Blind Asia Cup in India, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
The decision was announced to condemn ongoing unrest and increasing violence against Indian Muslims and misbehave with Pakistani officials in India.
Interestingly, the decision came just after a day Pakistan Cricket Board announced it will participate in ICC T20 Cricket World Cup scheduled in India next year.
The blind Asia Cricket Cup will be commenced from January 17 till January 17.
Earlier, the scheduled cricket series between Pakistan and India in December seemed highly unlikely after BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur said that conditions have to improve to hold talks and only then a bilateral series could be a possibility.
“A proposed cricket series between India and Pakistan in December will not be held now”, Indian media reported.
Also, there will be no official meeting between the two cricket board chiefs till October 25.
