Team management demands extra wicket keeper

Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 7 wickets in second test |TheNewsTribe.com

DUBAI: Pakistan cricket team management on Tuesday has demanded one extra wicket keeper from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

According to details from sources, team management took this decision to avoid any mishap in Test series as Pakistani regular wicket keeper Sarfraz Ahmed did wicket keeping for 206 overs in the first innings against England in 1st Test against visitors.

Another demanding factor is to keep Sarfraz safe from injury as heat is at its peak in Dubai, PCB has started thinking about this matter and one of Rizwan or Adnan Akmal likely to be sent to Dubai to join Pakistan team.

It is to be kept in mind that Pakistan suffered very badly due to unavailability of one spinner in the absence of Yasir Shah.

Team management want to avoid that kind of unavailability again in the tour.
