Mohammad Irfan faces ball tempering allegation

LAHORE: Tall Pakistan pacer Mohammad Irfan faces a ball-tampering allegation levelled by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in their ongoing Quaid-i-Azam Trophy match against Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) at the Gaddafi Stadium here on Tuesday.

The complaint has been received by PCB match-referee Aziz-ur-Rehman and he will hold the hearing in the case on Wednesday, the last day of the four-day match.

The lanky Irfan took three wickets in SBP’s first innings.
