ISLAMABAD – Spot fixing scandal-hit fast bowler Mohammad Asif signed agreement with the Cricket Team of Water and Power Development Authority. 

According to media reports, Mohammad Asif will play domestic cricket from WAPDA. Master of swing will join the team after completing action plan given by Pakistan Cricket Board.

 Salman Butt also played domestic cricket from cricket team of WAPDA.

Earlier, Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Asif has issued controversial statements about Pakistani players those does not want to play alongside banned trio.

While given an interview Mohammad Asif clarified that Pakistan cricket team belongs to nation. He said that if any player not want to play with us (banned players) then who knows, those players not be part of national team themselves.

In a interview with  PakPassion Asif said “This is not a local village team where some players don’t want others to play. If one or two players don’t want to play alongside us, then who knows, those players may not be in the team themselves in the future.”
