Attack was planned in Afghanistan: DG ISPR

 

PESHAWAR – Director General ISPR Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa on Friday released the details of Badaber Base attack.

DG ISPR terrorist were entered from gate of PAF base and QRF, PAF forces surrounded and killed attackers. “TTP splinter was involved in Badaber base attack,” he added.

DG ISPR Asim Bhajwa revealed that group of terrorists came from Afghanistan. They planned the attack in Afghanistan and they were controlled from Afghanistan.

He claimed that security forces blocked the terrorists 50 meter away from sensitive areas.

A group of 15-20 terrorists attacked the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) camp at Inqalab road in Peshawar’s Badaber area came under attack early Friday.

 Terrorists in two groups attacked the base camp from two different sides.

One group tried to engage security troops, while the other wanted to break in.

ISPR release, terrorists opened fire on Base camp’s mosque and killed 16 Namazis.
