Imran Khan turns down Asad Umar’s suggestion

ISLAMABAD – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Tuesday said that seat adjustment on the regional level is possible in upcoming local bodies elections in Punjab.

Imran Khan while talking media, also clarified that PTI has made no formal alliance with any political party. On a question he replied that on October 4, PTI will show political power in Islamabad.

Earlier, senior leader of PTI Asad Umar on Monday opposed the decision of alliance with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Punjab.

Asad Umar rejected the party decision of alliance with PPP in Punjab’s local bodies elections. “I am not in favor of coalition with PPP in LB polls in Punjab,” he said.

While talking to media, he said that he is not happy with party’s decision. On a question he answered that PTI will contest LB elections in Islamabad without coalition.

Senior leader of PTI said that he had informed his party about his concerns.
