ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to re-appoint Ayaz Sadiq as a Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan.
According to reports, PML-N has completed all the constitutional requirements for Speaker ship.
According to rule 11 of National Assembly of Pakistan, for a vacant seat of Speaker National Assembly members will choose it in the on going session or in the first session of next meeting of house.
Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced the schedule of re-election in the constituency of former Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, NA-122 which will be held on October 11, 2015.
Government has scheduled next National Assembly meeting on October 26, 15 days after the re-elecction in NA-122, so that Ayaz Sadiq can be chosen easily as a Speaker of the house after winning in re-election.
It is to be kept in mind that former speaker was de-notified from his constituency NA-122 by election after rigging was proved in general election 2013.
