Asif, Amir Comeback pose threat to youngsters

LAHORE: As International Cricket Council signalled green for spot-fixing-scandal-hit fast bowler Mohammad Asif and former captain Salman Butt, it is believed that their return will pose threats to young and emerging players.

According to cricket experts and former cricketers’ views, return of Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif, many young fast bowlers’ career will come into clouds.

If the former deadly duo gets into rhythm, it can bring a brake to many fast bowlers.

On the other hand, speaking to media Asif thanked ICC over lifting ban (from September 2) and announced that he has started training and will be back in the rhythm soon.

He further mentioned that he won’t create hurdle for any one, whoever performs should get a chance in national side, he said.
