ANTWERP: The most awaited game between Pakistan and India ended at 2-2 draw, as the age-old arch-rivals met in the field of Hockey World League Semifinals in Antwerp.
At the end of the first half, scores were leveled 1-1, it was Mohammad Imran who took a lead for Shaheens in third quarter of the game, and however a sensational strike from Ramandeep Singh, got India back in the game with a delightful reverse flick which leveled the scores again.
Pakistan failed to convert some certain chances into goals in third and the fourth quarters, Mohammad Imran scored both goals for Pakistan.
Pakistan needs to beat one major team in World Hockey League after losing match against Australia; it is last chance for Pakistan to qualify for mega event.
However, hope is alive for Pakistan as it may get another chance if India loses to Australia in its next game.
