ISLAMABAD – Senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party and opposition leader in National Assemebly, Syed Khursheed shah on Wednesday blamed federal government for the deaths of more than 700 persons in Karachi.
Opposition leader slammed the PML-N government while delivering speech in National Assembly. He said that federal government do nothing except giving fake figures.
Shah also demanded for the names of people who are involved in electricity theft.”People of Karachi are suffering from the problems of unscheduled load shedding and water shortage,” he added. He also said that federal government should apologize for the deaths in Karachi.
He said that federal ministers do some thing positive to control the situation instead of blaming Sindh government. “We will produce our own electricity in Karachi if the federal government cuts the power supply,” he mentioned.
In response, Minister for Water and Power, Khuwaja Asif said that Sindh government is responsible for the current worst situation of Karachi. “Opposition is just giving constitution and federal references to blame government.
