MIRPUR – India beat Bangladesh in the third and last One Day International (ODI) match of the series by 77 runs on Wednesday at Shere Bangla Stadium, Mirpur.In morning, after winning the toss, Bangladeshi skipper elected to bowl first. While batting first Indian team put 317 runs on the score board in the limited 50 overs at the lost of six wickets.
Dhawan scored 75 runs and remain top scorer from Indian side. Indian skipper, MS Dhoni contributed 69 runs in the total of 317 runs and Rayudu played the inning of 44 runs.
Left handed batsman Raina scored 38 and Binny scored 17 runs. Masrafe Mortaza took three wickets for his side, while star bowler of first two ODIs took two wickets in this match.
In reply, Bangladesh team scored on 240 runs and lost all batsmen before completing 50 overs. Sabar Rahman scored 43 and Soumya Sarkar scored 40 runs.
Litton Das played the inning of 34 for his team. Indian all-rounder Raina three wickets and played an important role in the victory of Indian team and saved his team from white wash.
Ashwin and Kulkarni took two wickets each. Bangladesh won the historic series by 2-1.
