ISLAMABAD – Interior Ministry of Pakistan has lifted the imposed ban over a Non- Government Organization (NGO),”Save the Children” on Sunday.
According to sources, the ban was lifted after the criticism which Pakistan faced on International level.
American Foreign Office had also taken strict notice of banning the International NGO “Save the Children” in Pakistan.
The ban was being imposed on the NGO, Save the Children, by the Interior ministry on the bases of their suspicious activities in Pakistan, added that no such NGO’s would be allowed to operate on Pakistan’s Soil.
Sources said that the NGO was working against the national interest of Pakistan therefore government had taken action to shut its operations in Pakistan, adding that the staff of the NGO was asked to leave Pakistan within 15 days.
