ISLAMABAD – The Chief of Army Staff, Raheel Sharif, visited the National Defense University (NDU) Islamabad, and addressed the ceremony on Wednesday.
Army Chief said in the address that operation Zarb-e-Azb is vital to eliminate terrorism from the country.
He said that Pakistan Armed Forces have achieved tremendous success in the operation in North Waziristan.
Commenting on Kashmir he said that Kashmir is the integral part of Pakistan, and we will not allow any skirmishes in Kashmir.
He gave clear message that, “we will not allow any proxy war against the very sovereignty of Pakistan, which undermine its integrity”.
He said that Pakistan Army is on the very right track and it has broken the backbone of the terrorists and destruct their hideouts as well.
He also added that Civil-Military relation is foremost important to curb the growing menace of terrorism.
