KARACHI: Former Speaker of National Assembly Fehmida Mirza has expressed her concerns over conspiracies knitted against her husband as she started to feel that Zulfiqar Mirza is a terrorist.
Talking to media in Karachi on Tuesday, she said “Sindh Government is trying to prove my husband as a terrorist, but he is a true Sindh-born and brave enough to fight all the conspiracies all alone.”
She said that Zulfiqar Mirza has been a victim of political reprisal only because he rebelled against falls gods of Sindh who have been looting poor Sindhis for year.
On the other hand Dr. Zilfiqar Mirza has submitted his will in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) today, in which he stated that he has serious death threats.
He mentioned former president Asif Ali Zardari, his sister Faryal Talpur and CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah in his will to be held responsible if he got killed during police custody or in any other incident.
Former Interior Minister Sindh had put a series of serious allegations against Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur which caught lot of media attention. However, these allegations were clearly rejected by People’s Party (PPP) leaders.
