RAWALPINDI – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has raided the offices of Axact in Karachi and Rawalpindi and taken control of Computer and other relevant data on Tuesday.
The bad patch for Axact continues as FIA’s team raided the Head office of Axact in Karachi and sub-office in Rawalpindi and taken control over the computer and other relevant data to conduct investigation of the allegations put on by the New York Times on Monday.
FIA team raided the Rawalpindi office, but security persons of Axact tried to block their way, but team of FIA entered in Axact’s office and arrested its workers and started probing the matter.

From the Rawalpindi’s office of Axact FIA has captured the whole IT center and server computers to investigate into the matter.
According to source, some forty (40) employees of Axact are also been arrested from Rawalpindi office an taken to the unknown place to inquire the matter from them.
FIA has captured all the files, data, IT lab, server and whole network from the Karachi Headquarter of Axact.

According to one of the credible source, Axact was working to issue the degrees of more than 370 universities of the world.
Federal Board of Revenue has revealed that Axact is also involved in the manipulating tax system of Pakistan in its interest.
It has used the Income Tax Ordinance 2001 in a way to give illegal tax relief to Axact.
