NEW YORK: Google has just launched a small automatic self-driven car which would soon be seen running on roads.
This car, having two seats only is intended for self-driving and there is no question of human interference because there is no steering wheel or handle in it.
Google has claimed that it has been working for five years on the mission to provide the customers driverless cars. This new car has more features than the previous self-driving car launched by Google.
Though it has not been made to cover long distances. It does not contain air bag and other safety features so it cannot be driven for more than 25 miles per hour.
This car is charged by electricity and needs to be charged after covering 80 miles.
Another important thing regarding this car is that it can only drive on those routes which are present in detail on Google map.
These cars would be run on the roads of California for a test drive during this summer. Till now 25 cars have been designed and they will be increased in quantity for their test drive on rainy and mountainous areas.
Google has been refitting its existing cars but now it has launched a new generation of automatic cars by working on its own prototypes.
Another interesting feature of the car is that it has a smiling face.
