Investigation Over Boat Seized By India Is Under Way

ISLAMABAD – The Foreign Office Spokesperson, Tasneem Aslam, said we are in contact with the Indian authorities to look into the matter of seized boat by Indians.

The Foreign Office Spokesperson, Tasneem Aslam, said in her weekly press briefing that Pakistani government is in contact with the Indian government and Pakistan’s High Commission in India.

India reportedly seized the Boat of Pakistan under the suspicion of drug trafficking of about 200kg heroine.

The narcotics filled Boat is captured from the Arabian Sea, coming from the Afghanistan.

The Indian Coast Guard allegedly intercepted the vessel carrying narcotics on Monday.

The foreign office told that the eight crew members of the Boat are in the custody of Indian and are in jail in Gujrat.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), a specialized police officer, said that this is the biggest record of the heroine seizure in the history of India.
