PPP to keep on pointing out shortcomings of govt: Khursheed Shah

ISLAMABAD: Leader of the opposition in the National Assembly (NA) Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will not keep silent and will continue pointing out shortcomings of the government.

Khursheed Shah was addressing press conference in Islamabad on Tuesday. He said that no seriousness is being shown for resolving any issue, saying that government has closed its eyes on the petrol crisis.
He said that Prime Minister is responsible for the petrol crisis as he personally sees all the matters. Khursheed Shah demanded that investigations into the petrol crisis should be conducted through Supreme Court.

He asked as to what is being done by the government on the petrol crisis, saying that they have already informed in this regard but the government did not pay any heed towards petrol crisis.
Khursheed Shah said that government reduced the price of petrol and increased tax, saying that the government only wants to extract money from the masses. He said that circular debt has reached up to Rs 350 billion.
He said that the government should tell as to who is responsible for the crisis and it should also be informed as to when the petrol crisis will end.
