Zardari vows to fulfill necessities of families of Sindh Police martyrs

KARACHI: Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday expressed a resolve to meet all the necessities of the families of the Sindh Police martyrs.

 
He expressed these views while addressing the participants of a ceremony conducted in connection with the martyrs of the Sindh police.
He said that he would stand by the police and not let them feel alone in whatever the circumstances will be. PPP co-chairman said that PPP stands by the families of the martyrs and will meet their demands.
 

He said that the people who love Bhuttoism do not fear martyrdom. Nobody could forcefully impose his thinking on them, he added. He expressed a resolve to provide free education to the children of martyrs.
Asif Ali Zardari distributed cheques among the heirs of martyred policemen and announced free education for their children.
The ceremony was attended by families of the martyrs, members of the Sindh Assembly and some high-ranking police officials.
On this occasion, Asif Ali Zardari – the chief guest of the ceremony – handed over compensation cheques to the heirs of the martyrs.

The PPP co-chairman also vowed to fulfill all requirements of the martyrs’ families.
Asif Ali Zardari said that nobody can impose his ideology by force.
He regretted the delay in release of payment, but he said that non-registration caused the hurdle.
“I pay tribute to the brave youth of Sindh police,” he said. “Our government will fulfill all the needs of families of martyred policemen.”
The former president pledged that children of martyrs would get free education at ZABIST University.
