LAHORE: Pakistan Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq has said that he is ready to make all out efforts in World Cup 2015 and he will not play Twenty 20 (T20) and One Day International (ODI) after this tournament.
Misbah-ul-Haq said in a press conference that those who think that he have lost confidence over himself, are completely wrong.
“Allah helped me a lot, moving to World Cup with positive mind,” he added
He said cricket is above everything for him and he played with all passion for several years and now leaving that not easy.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Shaharyar Khan talking to media said that he appreciate decision taken by players and there was no pressure from PCB.
“We feel sorry to see such high class and trustable player decides not to play ODIs and T20s,” he said.
He said good thing is that Misbah is still available for test cricket.
PCB Chief said they are going to play against England and India and Misbah will be in those test matches.
