AHMADABAD: Secretary General of United State John Kerry has escaped a horrific accident, two cars of his convoy including his own car were involved in a minor traffic accident.
According to local media, John Kerry escaped the accident unhurt while both cars suffered minor damages.
US State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said the accident occurred Monday as Kerry’s motorcade was headed to the airport in Ahmadabad.
Kerry was in Ahmadabad for a long-scheduled appearance at an international investment conference, and to prepare for President Barack Obama’s trip to India later this month.
John Kerry is scheduled to visit Pakistan for two days from Monday (today) where he will meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as well as other high officials.
