KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shehryar Khan has said the Ajmal’s action now in the limit of 15 degree recommended by International Cricket Council (ICC).
Shehryar Khan talking to media said that Saeed Ajmal told him that he is ready for ICC’s official test as his action now in 15 degree limit.
PCB will now sent the letter to ICC for Hafeez and Ajmal’s official action review whenever they want.
Earlier Saeed Ajmal talking to media said that he will go to England instead of India for his unofficial action test.
Ajmal hoped that this time he will clear the test. Saeed said that in his last unofficial test, his action had major improvement but still felt short to clear the test.
The banned bowler said following the results of the test he worked even harder in order to correct his action and now he believes that he would clear the test.
Saeed said that he has practiced a few new deliveries for his new action and all the balls are wicket taking deliveries.
He said that he will be equally effective with his news bowling action as he was with the old action.
It is pertinent to mention here that Saeed Ajmal had been banned from bowling in 2014 during the tour of Sri Lanka.
Now the big question remains that if Ajmal clears the bowling action test both in unofficial and official tests will Pakistan Cricket Board consider him for the World Cup?
And if it happens will Yarsir Shah or Sohail Khan be dropped to accommodate Saeed Ajmal? Time will tell we will keep you updated on this matter.
