ISLAMABAD: Dialogues committee members of Pakistan government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have scheduled to meet again on December 30 (tomorrow) with new passion to enter into ‘decisive phase’ .

Dar said that three more points of the draft needed to be discussed more in upcoming meeting. He claimed that the draft of judicial commission was shared with parliamentary leaders in last All Parties Conference (APC).

PTI’s dialogue committee member, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, while addressing a press conference after meeting said that the meeting was ended up contrary to its expectations to be a ‘decisive’ point of turn between government and the political party.

Qureshi said that PTI chairman Imran Khan showed prominent flexibility to resolve all issues. He expressed his expectations that another meeting could be a successful one which was scheduled tomorrow only if inflexibility will be shown by the government. However, he also admitted that the government took practical steps. PTI leadership would try to clear all reservations of the government in tomorrow’s meeting, Qureshi said. PTI negotiator reiterated Dar’s statement that the deadlock caused on ‘three points.’

According to sources, deadlock hits ongoing dialogues once again over difference in govt-PTI opinions to define rigging described in the draft designed to form a judicial commission in the country.

PTI negotiators were insisting that ‘unverified votes’ must be brought under investigation as ‘rigging’.

On the other hand, the government dialogue committee provided their stance that ‘unverfied votes’ cannot be defined as ‘rigging’. However, the government committee said ‘the unverified votes could be a part of conspiracy.’, sources said.

The meeting was organised at residential place of PTI’s central leader Jehangir Tareen which was reportedly attended by PTI’s Asad Umar and Shah Mehmood Qureshi while federal finance minister Ishaq Dar and federal planning and development minister Ahsan Iqbal from the government side.

It is noteworthy to mention here that the government negotiator Ishaq Dar earlier announced to wrap up all conflicting matters via making ongoing negotiation session successful on current date.
