Two worst road accidents kill 11, injure dozens in Pakistan

GUJAR KHAN, MACHH: At least 11 persons lost their lives in two major road accidents while dozens sustained serious injuries in Punjab and Balochistan provinces on Thursday (today).

A passenger van was overturned, killing at least five persons on board and injuring more than 12, on G-T Road near Gujar Khan city of Punjab province. The horrific accident caused due to tyre burst, police sources said.

In another incident, at least six nationals were died following a awful collision between car and tanker on national highway in Machh town – Balochistan. The deceased include three women and a child.

Dead bodies and injured were shifted to nearby hospitals by rescue teams while police officials were seen busy to resume flow of traffic on the major roads.
