Saeed Ajmal is back in action

LAHORE: Long wait over, Pakistani magician Saeed Ajmal is back in action for the first time after International Cricket council ban the bowler.

Off spinner Saeed Ajmal is in  action representing ‘Pakistan A’ against Kenya in forth One Day of five-match series.

Saeed Ajmal is under tight inspection of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials in the international match against Kenya being played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

Ajmal was banned from bowling by ICC due to his illegal action which is below 15 degree, however, Pakistani officials and trainers claimed that he has recovered his fault up to 70 to 80 per cent in very less duration.

Members of PCB bowling action committee will inspect Ajmal’s bowling action that would be helpful for making decision whether to send the star spinner for another official bowling test or not.

The One Day International (ODI) between Pakistan A and Kenya is reduced to 28 over due to delay because of fog. Pakistan made several changes in the team.

Pakistan A team: Iftikhar Ahmed, Mukhtar Ahmed Fawad Alam (Skipper), Saad Ali, Umar Siddiq, Mohammad Rizwan(WC), Zafar Gohar, Ahmed Jamal, Zohaib Ahmed, Mir Hamza, Saeed Ajmal.

Kenya Team: AA Obanda, KO Owino, Gurdeep Singh, MA Ouma (WK), SO Ngoche (Skipper), JK Kamande, E Otieno, NM Odhiambo, EB Ringera, E Ochieng, Hamza Malik.

Earlier, PCB chairman Sheharyar Khan had announced that International Cricket Council (ICC) will be asked to undergo Saeed Ajmal and Muhammad Hafeez official bowling test before January 7, the last date for the submission of 15 member team squad for World Cup.
