ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Khursheed Shah, on Wednesday objected the contradiction in polling procedures of Punjab and Sindh provinces.
Khursheed Shah demanded the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) to take notice for difference in election functions in two major provinces.
He raised question, ‘In Sindh, when rigging proved against a winning candidate then second candidate declared successful by laws while re-polling being organised in Punjab province in such situation.’
Khursheed Shah termed it as “contradiction in election tribunals’ decisions” in Sindh and Punjab.
