Samsung Galaxy S6 leaked, indicating major changes

WASHINGTON: As Samsung eyeing to launch its flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S6, now device made its first appearance in AnTuTu benchmark.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 will not debut till 2015 while report recons that the device is expected to debut in January.

However Samsung Galaxy S6 already got the attention of major part of social media, as device’s headline features started to emerge online.

This time very reliable AnTuTu Benchmark is in the act as it revealed some of the top key features of the device.

We have reported earlier that Samsung is redesigning the S series and Samsung Galaxy S6 could be the first to have some significant changes.

Chinese portal CNMO was the first one to spot the benchmark listing and post a screenshot for the whole world to see (via Phone Arena).

The device in question appears with the model number SM-G925F and it seems to be the Exynos-powered variant of the handset. Samsung typically launches two versions of its flagships – one with a Snapdragon processor and another with its own Exynos chipset.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to rock the very latest 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor under the hood, but the device listed here on AnTuTu packs a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 SoC. The processor is paired with an ARM Mali-T760 graphics processing unit (GPU) and 3GB of RAM.

The AnTuTu benchmark listing further reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will sport a 5.5-inch display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and boast a 20-megapixel rear camera, as well as a 5-megapixel front-facing unit.

The device will apparently come with 32GB of internal storage capacity. On the software side, as expected, the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop will run the show.

Recent rumors also suggested that the Galaxy S6 will debut alongside a curved-display Galaxy S6 Edge, much like the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge arrived back in September.

It all remains unconfirmed at this point, however, therefore it is highly advisable to take everything with a grain of salt until Samsung makes an official announcement.
