KARACHI: Fire erupted inside a three-storey residential building in Liaquatabad’s Firdous Market, TheNewstTribe.com reported on Saturday.
Children and women are trapped inside the building. Firefighters have launched a rescue operation.
The initial report said that the fire might have erupted in a mini plastic factory at the basement of the building.
Earlier on Friday night, a fire erupted in a yarn factory, which was declared a ‘third-level fire’ by the fire fighters. However, no casualties were reported. The cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained.
