RAWALPINDI: Security forces action continued in tribal areas against terrorists and after attacks on check posts in Khyber Agency and Orakzai Agency by terrorists, security forces killed as many as 22 militants in successful actions.
On the other hand, aerial attacks in North Waziristan killed 17 militants including foreigners as security forces action against extremist continued.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), aerial attacks in North Waziristan killed 17 terrorists including foreigners.
Security official said that on Tuesday as many as 60 to 70 terrorists attacked security forces check post in Ikha Khail area of Terra Valley of Khyber Agency and in retaliatory action seven terrorist were killed and others fled from the scene.
Terrorists also attacked check post in Sherien Dara Khazina area of Orakzai Agency and in retaliatory move of security agencies killed 15 militants and 25 others injured.
The security forces after the attack cordoned off the area and started search operation.
