LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has apparently became fortunate to end isolation of international cricket in the country followed by formal announcement from two countries to visit Pakistan during 2014-15.
Australian High Commissioner announced that the army women’s cricket team will visit Pakistan next year, however, the venue and dates yet to be finalised, local media reported on Monday.
The recent development was quite significant for Pakistan who is facing severe isolation of international events since March 3, 2009 when the Sri Lankan team fiercely attacked by terrorists in Lahore.
Moreover, Kenyan authorities also approved to send men’s cricket team to Pakistan to play an international series primarily for providing assistance to Pakistan for restoration of safety beliefs for other international teams.
