Prime Minister should take back ministry if I am not competent: Riaz Pirzada

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Pirzada on Thursday asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take back from him the the power-less ministry.

During the meeting of Senate’s Standing Committee on Inter-provincial Coordination, which held here with chairperson Senator Farrah Aqil in the chair, Pirzada said that if he was not given powers, then the ministry should also be taken back from him.

He complained that he was not given a block for his ministry’s secretariat, adding that he was denied the facility out of fear of a powerful ministry.

He said that the Prime Minister should bring in a new minister if he was not competent enough.

Pirzada said that though all chief ministers were under his ministry, no chief minister expect Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik even bothered to pick up his phone.
