ISLAMABAD: Spokesperson to Prime Minister on Saturday clarified that PM Nawaz Sharif doesn’t call or send any invitation to Imran Khan for negotiations.
Prime Minister spokesperson termed the claims made by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan as ‘completely baseless and lies’.
The clarification has been dispatched from the PM House that no invitations were sent to PTI chief in order to commence any negotiation process with PM Nawaz Sharif.
No talks will be held on unconstitutional demands except negotiations within boundaries of Pakistani constitution, spokesperson clarified.
Imran Khan is allowed to contact the government anytime to hold talks in order to resolve issues.
Earlier, PTI chief Imran Khan claimed during a public gathering in Sahiwal that PM Nawaz is trying to contact him for negotiations but he answered that If he is a proclaimed offender than what reason left for Nawaz Sharif to negotiate with him and is he trying to negotiate with a proclaimed offender?.
