Nawaz-Modi meeting at SAARC summit not expected: India

NEW DELH: The meeting of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with Indian counterpart premier Narendra Modi is not expected on the eve of the SAARC Summit, which was scheduled on November 26 in Katmandu, Nepal.

Spokesman of Indian Foreign Ministry Syed Akbaruddin commenting on issue said that India was in search of appropriate time for the meeting of Prime Minster of neighbouring countries.

Syed Akbar said that India had not finalised yet regarding the meeting of both leaders Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Narendera Modi at Khatmandu.

Akbar further said that there was no need of hurry to rush for dialogue because there was enough time in to start SAARC Summit, adding that a single day is enough in politics.

Replying a question he said that the right decisions regarding resumption of dialogue would be taken on right time.
