ISLAMABAD: Corps Commanders of Pakistan Army on Wednesday discussed the ongoing military operations Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan Agency and Khyber-I in Khyber Agency and expressed satisfaction on the progress so far achieved in the actions.

The Cops Commanders meeting was held here at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, which was presided over by Army Chief General Raheel Sharif.

Sources said that the General Raheel also took the corps commanders into confidence over his recent visit to Kabul.

They said that the meeting also reviewed the country’s internal security and situation along the Line of Control (LoC) and working boundary.

Last week, General Raheel had also held a meeting with Afghan president Asharaf Ghani Ahmadzai and senior military leaders in Kabul to discuss the security issues concerning both the countries.
