National Guard Apache helicopter crashed in Boise

BOISE: An Idaho National Guard Apache helicopter has crashed in south of the Boise Airport, local media reported on Thursday evening.

According to Col. Tim Marsano,Idaho National Guard spokesman said, two people were on board at the helicopter when it crashed in south of the Boise Airport

Fire department said the helicopter crashed near Pleasant Valley Road and Hollilynn Drive.

The helicopter was in a routine training mission when it crashed. Their condition has not been released.

The crash was reported at about 8 p.m. The helicopter caught fire when it went down, Col said It’s one of 16 helicopters at the base.
