ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice-chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that PTI Members of National Assembly (MNAs) had come to NA secretariat to appear before the Speaker for confirmation of their resignation from the National Assembly.
Talking to media after leaving NA secretariat, the PTI leader said that the government did not learn anything from its past as it tried to resort to horse trading and offered ministries and as bribes to PTI MNAS by reaching out to them.
Qureshi said that they fulfilled their legal and moral obligation by appearing before the speaker for confirmation of their resignations, adding that he is also representing party chief Imran Khan.
The PTI leader said that the party respected Parliament and would do so in future.
Qureshi said that out of 34 PTI MNA’s 27 appeared before the speaker on Wednesday (today) three could not come due to some reasons and four of them left the party.
