Pakistan beat India 2-1 in Asian Games hockey

INCHEON: Pakistan hockey team defeated arch-rivals India 2-1 in their third game of 17th Asian Games on September 25, Thursday, in Incheon, South Korea.

The first two quarters ended without any goal by either team. In the third quarter, Pakistan took lead over India.

India replied with a field goal within the next 10 minutes.

But Pakistan regained the lead and kept it till the end.

With this third consecutive victory, Pakistan have reached semi-finals. As they are most likely to top the group, they will face the weaker of the two semi-finalists from the other group.
