KARACHI: Karachi police on Thursday claimed to have arrested an accused involved in the murder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf deceased leader Zehra Shahid, media reported.
A news channel reported that Karachi police had claimed to have arrested one of the accused wanted in the PTI leader murder case.
But another channel reported that police had arrested four people involved in the murder of PTI leader.
Both the channels quoted Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) investigation Karachi.
The police said the four persons were arrested from Clifton on Thursday.
Zehra Shahid was murdered in 2013.
The police also claimed that they also recovered two pistols which were used in the murder.
