Islamabad schools still in police occupation

ISLAMABAD: As many as 11 schools remain occupied by Islamabad police, although Islamabad High Court has ordered evacuation of policemen from these schools.

IHC had given deadline of Tuesday to evacuate all schools and colleges of Islamabad occupied by police due to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) sit-in in the capital.

Islamabad administration has failed to enforce IHC’s deadline and get the premises vacated.

It is pertinent to mention here that police re-occupied five schools today which had been evacuated yesterday.
