NEW YORK : United Stated president Barack Obama on Tuesday said that people of the country are thankful for services of their forces.
“We will not tolerate safe havens for terrorists who threaten our people.” Obama said
At least 40 countries are providing interest less services against ISIS, he revealed.
The president spoke briefly from before leaving for New York City and three days of meetings at the United Nations, where military action in both Iraq and Syria will be prominent topics.
Obama also emphasized that five Middle East countries also participated in attacks in Syria: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates.
“We are going forward against ISIS with a Plane” Â he further said.
American forces attacked ISIS hideouts last night on his call, Obama said.
“The overall effort will take time,” Obama said. “There will be challenges ahead.”
The president also said he consulted with congressional leaders from both parties about the action in Syria.
