KARACHI: Unidentified men shot dead Karachi University Islamic Studies Dean Professor Shakil Auj here on Thursday (today).
The professor was shot at near Bait Ul Mukaram mosque in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. He was shifted to a private hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to injuries.
The hospital sources said he received four bullets in his body in the terrorist attack.
He was conferred Sitara-e-Imtiaz recently.
His funeral prayers will be offered in Karachi University Ibrahim Mosque after Aser prayer.
