ISLAMABAD: An important development has taken place regarding to hold local body’s election in the country as ministry of parliamentary affairs has prepared a draft to authorize Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for delimitation, TheNewsTribe reported.
The ministry of parliamentary affairs has prepared a draft for making the ECP responsible for delimitation and forwarded the draft to the ECP.
The ECP will consider the draft today in its meeting.
Earlier, the ECP has asked for complete authorization for delimitation and categorically stated that it will not assume the charge of delimitation if given partially.
