Al Qaeda’s new branch established in Indian subcontinent

A militant organisation, Al-Qaeda, has announced to establish a new branch in the Indian subcontinent reportedly named as ‘Qaedat al-Jihad’.


SITE intelligence group revealed on Wednesday that the militant organisation have announced its new branch in the Indian subcontinent under leadership of Asim Umar, the Chief of al Qaeda’s Shariah Committee for Pakistan.

Ustad Usama Mahmoud has been appointed as Qaedat al-Jihad spokesperson while the newly formed branch would focus Ahmadabad (India), Assam (India), Bangladesh, Burma and Kashmir.
