ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan today categorically stated that in his 18 years struggle for justice and democracy he has never needed any crutches to bolster him politically.
According to the official press release of PTI, Khan said that he has always stood by his principles of fighting for real democracy and the rights of the ordinary people of Pakistan regardless of caste or creed.
He neither needs to nor would seek to approach the military on political issues. Khan said that throughout the Azadi (Independence) March he has emphasised that he would never accept any undemocratic action or intervention.
Khan also stated that Javed Hashmi’s statement about the new Chief Justice is a figment of his imagination.
Khan said it was unfortunate that Hashmi has chosen to malign him in a baseless fashion for his own questionable agenda.
