The interior minister Chaudhry Nisar and PM Nawaz Sharif had told National Assembly today that Army mediation was taken place on the request of PTI Chief Imran Khan and PAT head Dr Tahir Ul Qadri, earlier today.
In replay to government’s statement, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan rejected statement.
It is pertinent to mention here Opposition leader demanded the Army to clarify its position through statement of Inter Service Public Relations, ISPR.
Now Army has clarified that they started the mediation on the instructions of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in a meeting held yesterday in PM house.
