The carrier has been committed to delivering the latest software to its array of Windows Phone smartphones, and it now looks like the Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone is the next in line to receive the treats.
Windows Phone 8.1 brings notable improvements over the previous version of the operating system, adding neat new features and enhancements designed to improve the overall experience and functionality.
One of the most highly-anticipated features that Windows Phone 8.1 brings to the table is Cortana, Microsoft’s new digital assistant and answer to Apple’s Siri and Google Now.
In addition to Cortana, however, Windows Phone 8.1 has several other goodies to bring to the table. One Windows, consisting of OneDrive, Skype, Office, and Bing, aims to reinvent the Windows experience across all screens for easier sharing, shooting, playing, and more, on the go. The update further brings improvements to Xbox, efficiency, Word Flow keyboard with shape writing, and more.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 is already a powerful smartphone that drew plenty of interest when it launched, and the new software update will surely make it even more appealing.
