Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar completes his first year as Governor of Punjab

LAHORE: Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Wednesday completed his first year as the ongoing Governor of Punjab.

During this tenure, he paid special attention to improve the education level and provision of clean water to the Punjab citizens.

He is the first Pakistani Muslim to take oath on Holy Quran as a member of British parliament, local media reported.

Sarwar expressed his wishes to convert Punjab’s Governor House into Peoples’ House.

The Governor of Punjab also played vital role in provision of relief products including water bottles, mosquito nets and other necessary items to the IDPs of North Waziristan dispersed from their homes due to ongoing military operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’.
