Pillion riding ban lifted in Karachi

KARACHI: The Sindh government has lifted a ban on pillion riding in Karachi that was imposed on July 28 before Eid-ul-Fitr festival.


According to a notification issued by Sindh Home Ministry, the ban has been lifted with immediate effect after five-day banishment on pillion riding imposed on July 28.

The ban was imposed amid security threats on Eid-ul-Fitr festival celebrated for three days from July 29 till midnight of August 1.
